Buyel'Ekhaya Music Festival - East London

 Buyel'Ekhaya Annual Music Festival has been in existence since 2009

Jam packed with a diversity of talents, 2011's programme  impreseds all with the various genres and cultures represented. 'Each year we are seeing bigger numbers coming from various corners of South Africa, which is a testament to how popular the festival is becoming. In time we want to attract people as far as Nigeria and the rest of Africa' stated Hlubi Mazwai,Buyel’Ekahaya  Festival Producer.


 The festive season is a perfect time of year to celebrate one’s achievements from the past year, music is an integral part of Africa celebrations. 


Buyel’Ekahaya is an inclusive musical festival, one in which all South Africans are encouraged to participate and share in the experience. Although held in the Eastern Cape, it's not subjected to only the locals from that province. This is a family affair therefore all people from across the country are encouraged to include the Eastern Cape in their holiday plans. This year’s dynamic line up comprises of renowned artists respected for the quality of their work: Zahara, Asanda Bam, Pu2Ma, Caiphus Semenya, Oliver Mthukudzi, Zakes Bantwini, Dj Tira and Thandiswa Mazwai. Putco Mafani of Umhlobo Wenene FM and Zizo Beda of Selimathunzi will be the ambassadors for this music festival.
